Specific Conditions for Events (Weddings, Anniversaries, Seminars, etc.)

These conditions apply to event bookings (weddings, anniversaries, seminars, etc.) made directly with Janat Al Atlas Resort and Spa, without going through a booking engine or intermediary agency. These bookings are managed in collaboration with our on-site reservation agent.

  1. Rates

    • Event rates are customized based on the client’s specific needs (number of guests, type of event, additional services, etc.).
    • A detailed quote will be provided after consultation with our reservation agent. This quote will include all event-related costs (venue rental, catering, decoration, additional services, etc.).
    • Rates are subject to change if there are modifications to the client’s requests or changes in market conditions (e.g., increase in supplier costs).
  2. Payment

    • Deposit: A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required to confirm the event booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
    • Second Payment: 50% of the total amount must be paid 30 days before the event date.
    • Balance: The remaining amount (20%) is due on the check-in day.
    • Payments can be made by [accepted payment methods, e.g., credit card, bank transfer, cash, direct payment link sent to the client, etc.].
    • If the payments are not made within the specified timeframes, Janat Al Atlas Resort and Spa reserves the right to cancel the event without refunding any amounts already paid.
  3. Cancellation and Compensation

    • Cancellation by the Client:
      • If the event is canceled more than 30 days before the event date, the 30% deposit will be retained, but no additional fees will be charged.
      • If the event is canceled between 30 and 15 days before the event date, 50% of the total amount will be charged.
      • If the event is canceled less than 15 days before the event date, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
    • Cancellation by Janat Al Atlas Resort and Spa:
      • We reserve the right to cancel an event in case of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather conditions, pandemic, etc.). In this case, a full refund or rescheduling of the event will be offered.
      • If the cancellation is due to our fault (excluding force majeure), a full refund or equivalent compensation will be offered.
    • Modifications by the Client:
      • Any modifications to the event (number of guests, additional services, etc.) must be communicated at least 15 days in advance. Additional fees may apply depending on the requested changes.
  4. Responsibilities

    • Janat Al Atlas Resort and Spa commits to providing the services outlined in the quote and meeting the expected quality standards.
    • The client is responsible for:
      • Providing accurate and complete information when making the reservation.
      • Complying with the payment deadlines and cancellation conditions.
      • Ensuring that guests adhere to the rules of the establishment (e.g., appropriate behavior, respect for facilities, etc.).
      • Protection of property and facilities:
        • The client and their guests must exercise the utmost care with the property, equipment, and facilities of the establishment.
        • Any damage, breakage, or destruction caused by the client or their guests will be charged and must be fully compensated. Repair or replacement costs will be calculated based on actual costs and billed to the client.
        • If damage is discovered after the event, Janat Al Atlas Resort and Spa reserves the right to charge the corresponding costs to the credit card provided during the reservation or send an invoice to the client.
  5. Force Majeure

    • Neither party will be held responsible for failure to perform their obligations due to an event of force majeure (e.g., natural disaster, strike, pandemic, etc.). In such cases, both parties agree to find a fair solution (postponement, partial refund, etc.).
  6. Disputes

    • Any dispute arising from the reservation or organization of an event will be settled amicably. In the event of a persistent disagreement, only Moroccan courts will have jurisdiction.
