FAQ
Wear a swimwear:
It’s common to wear swimwear here. I suggest bringing two sets so you can switch into something dry during lunch or if you want to hang out in the dry spots without being stuck in wet swimsuits.
Wear clean slippers:
For hygiene reasons spas usually offer a pair of slippers for you to use. Alternatively, you can bring your own clean flip flops or sliders specifically for use in a spa/pool area. Never wear your outdoor shoes.
Don’t wear perfume:
When you’re about to shower and wash everything off, skip the perfume and heavy products. There’s no need for makeup either. If you plan to use the hydro facilities like the sauna, steam room, or pool, makeup will just interfere with your skin enjoying all those therapeutic perks, or in other words, sweating out the toxins.
Remove skincare products:
It’s smart to take off your makeup and skincare products for hygiene reasons. Plus, it gets your face ready to really enjoy the therapeutic perks of steam and sauna sessions.
Leave out your mobile phone:
It’s a spa! Take this chance to tuck your phone away in a locker and really relax. Many spas enforce a no-phone rule, and that’s just to help you chill out and keep the peace for everyone else.
Use your ‘spa voice’:
It’s usually expected to use your ‘spa voice,’ which means keeping your voice down to avoid interrupting other guests enjoying their spa time.
